Voltaire Zemana, DVM, CVA
Dr. Zemana is the medical director of Woodside Pet Hospital of Queens, NY. He has been serving the Queens community of Woodside and the surrounding areas for over eight years and has been a practicing veterinarian for over 20 years. He treats dogs and cats and other pets like rabbits, turtles, bearded dragons, guinea pigs, hamsters and other small mammals and pocket pets. His special interests include small animal surgery, pain management, canine and feline medicine and exotic animal medicine.
Dr. Zemana also practices Integrative veterinary medicine where he uses Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine along with modern veterinary medicine for pets who need or whose owners prefer a holistic approach to animal healing.
He is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (IVAS) with advanced training in Chinese Veterinary Herbology, and holds a certificate in Veterinary Homeopathy from the British Institute of Homeopathy, U.K.
Dr. Zemana is a member of the American Academy of Veterinary Acupuncture, the American Veterinary Medical Association and is an accredited United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) veterinarian who can provide local and international health certificates for your pets travelling within the United States and abroad.
